Istria Gourmet: Discover Istria’s culinary delights: truffle, wine & olive oil

The north of Istria is particularly dense in culinary delights, many of which our participants will be able to indulge in during this gourmet trip.

In the morning, participants will go truffle hunting in the woods along the Mirna river, followed by a degustation of truffles and truffle products at the bottom of the historic town of Motovun.

After that they will meet up with one of the most renowned olive oil producers of the region, and – while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view from their private garden, will learn how to properly taste olive oil.

No gourmet outing would be complete without a wine tasting, of course, -  a local wine producer will introduce participants to Istria’s autochtonous wine grapes.

The day finishes on the peaceful terrace of the Hotel Kastel in the heart of the town of Motovun, one of Istria’s top gourmet addresses.
